Description

What's this? ZatGeneral has submitted another piece of work on the same day!?! o.O The world must really be ending!

So anyway, before the world ends let me tell you about these tanks here. First of all they're shown with the Royal Armored Division's color scheme and insignia. (The insignia I did not make btw)

These tanks are a visual reference for the tanks in my ongoing fic.

Medium Tanks can be found here: fav.me/d64dumw
Funny light tanks AND tank destroyers can be found here: fav.me/d66zgyg

First up is the Vladhoof Korporation Vehicle Heavy Tank-8

VKV Heavy Tank-8
Armor (Front/Sides/Rear)

Hull: 200/130/80
Turret: 220/130/90

Main armament: 225mm Howitzer
Accuracy at 1000 meters: %42
Average penetration: 68mm

Top speed: 45 KMH
Traverse: 23 deg/s

Pros:
Massive gun delivers unparalleled damage to enemy forces
Well armored, especially with sloped front armor.
Oscillating turret allows for good gun depression and great gun elevation.
Fairly speedy

Cons:
Not very maneuverable
Prone to suspension and engine failures
Prone to "shedding" its tracks

Info: The VKV HT-8 is often called "the Hammer Tank" by Equestrian military personnel due to the fact that tends to slam enemies into the ground and crush them into a fine paste. The VKV HT lacks many recoil dampening mechanisms to give its heavy shell more range however, the torsion bars that keep the tank up tend to wear out faster and more frequently due the intense load on them whenever the howitzer fires.

The Porshoe Automobil Holding's Make 5-90

M5-90
Armor (Front/Sides/Rear)

Hull: 150/80/80
Turret: 145/100/80

Main armament: Twin high velocity 90mm guns
Accuracy at 1000 meters: %100
Average penetration: 249mm

Top speed: 49 KMH
Traverse: 29 deg/s

Pros:
Very accurate guns
Twin guns practically double fire rate and keep the loader busy.
High Penetration
Pike nose and sloped armor increases the chance for bounces

Cons:
Overall thin armor
Large size makes the M5 an easy target
Large ammunition storage space is easy to hit

Info: The M5-90 is made by the Porshoe Automobil Holding based in Flankfurt. The M5 nickname "the Monarch Tiger" comes from the previous line of nicknames given by Equestrian soldiers (which were all named after cats). The twin guns of the M5 are a new feature and battlefield data has shown that armored divisions fielding M5s are more successful in carrying out their orders. However, the twin guns consume ammunition at a rapid rate, so more of the tank is devoted to carrying ammo.

The Neighjing Consortium's Type S2E14
Armor (Front/Sides/Rear)

Hull: 120/50/50
Turret: 160/160/160

Main armament: A high velocity 75mm gun and a 10.5cm howitzer
Accuracy at 1000 meters: %100 (75mm) %58 (10.5cm)
Average penetration: 192mm (75mm) 52 (10.5cm)

Top speed: 65 KMH
Traverse: 47 deg/s

Pros:
The fastest heavy tank in the Equestrian military
Incredible maneuverability
Well sloped front hull armor
Two different types of guns allows the Type S2E14 to take on a variety of roles
"Pudding basin" turret is known to bounce shots

Cons:
THIN armor
Vulnerable sides and rear armor
The 75mm is not known to be the most damaging
Distilled Rainbow fuel must be replenished often

Info: The Type S2E14 is an interesting example of the Neighjing Consortium's "jack of all trades" mentality. The Type S2E14 lack armor in every way, but its speed is comparable to light tanks and given the two types of guns, the Type is a great tank for lightning assaults and for running down retreating enemies. Which is why Equestrians know this tank as "the flying dragon".

The Fjord Motor Group's Heavy Tank-6

HT-6
Armor (Front/Sides/Rear)

Hull: 325/255/200
Turret: 325/260/200

Main armament: Auto-loading 80mm
Accuracy at 1000 meters: %87
Average penetration: 206mm

Top speed: 20 KMH
Traverse: 13 deg/s

Pros:
THICK armor
THICK ARMOR
Autoloading gun makes short work of light and moderately armored tanks
Did we mention THICK ARMOR?
Lots of machine guns for anti-infantry roles

Cons:
Slow
Sluggish
Doesn't get anywhere fast
Easy to hit

Info: When Jarl Fjordsinger's company was contracted to build a heavy tank, the Jarl took the "heavy" part of it to seriously. This tank is known as "the bunker" because the HT-6 spends most of its time stationary. Clever armored division commanders have found that the Type S2E14 can push the HT-6 to speeds of 40KMH

So, there are vorpal loaders and obsolete volley gun concept and bashing other nations' technologies together from different decades into tanks for a nation of humanoid horses from a T.V. show for little girls and consequentially overgrow boys with no social life?
