Consortium Attack Ops

History:
Many years following the Great Equestiran Space Age, as new and uncharted worlds became home to more and more of Equestria's denizens, it became apparent that the old ways of harmony and friend ship were giving way to hostility and greed. separated by thousands light years from their home world, the new planets that Equestria's denizens settled on changed them.

The Independent Systems Confederacy is ruled neither by Princess Celestia or Premier Luna and has been a nuisance to both the Solar Empire of Equestria and the New Lunar Republic. Its member worlds do as they please, and the ISC justifies a raid on a SEE or NLR colony by a member world as "an inability to control a upstart government" An invasion by either the SEE or NLR would cause all of the ISC member worlds to counter attack. The only way to effectively neutralize a raiding ISC member world is to use covert strikes and plant false evidence that the covert strike was another ISC member world's doing.

Two IRIS Troopers and a Tanto Class Skirmisher Assault Mech are led by a NCSS Enforcer Trooper. Their mission is to cause confusion and disrupt Confederate troop communications.

The Tanto Skirmisher is of IRIS origin. Equipped with twin Type-S2E14 Plasma Cannons, a massive A-16 Thruster Pack and advanced hydraulics and impact shielding, the Tanto glides across the battlefield with speed and agility, as well was the hitting power of heavier assault platforms (Tanks and Mechs).

IRIS Troopers are medium armored combatants that focus on surveillance and reconnaissance. Their suite of sensors, optics and detection units gives them and their allies unparalleled battlefield dominance.
